The Pool Balls Puzzle Hint

The teams received a physical hint along with the rack of pool balls that constituted the puzzle. It was a Magic 8 Ball that was slightly doctored. Instead of an 8, the number had been changed to 1000. The side where you normally read the message had been covered by a sticker that gave its own message: "I am unable to see the answer". Below are two pictures that show these changes.
